Sonoma Trip '17
My picks of where to stay and eat in Sonoma! Enjoy xx
THIS AIR BNB was incredible. A gorgeous home tucked in the little countryside right in the heart of Sonoma. Super close to a bunch of wineries, yummy restaurants, the square, etc. Did I mention the badass separate studio with glass garage doors and an outdoor shower? I wanted to move into the place. The owner are AMAZING and super sweet. They have a little book of their favorite spots and recommendations which ended up being killer. They also have a couple cruiser bikes that you can ride into town. Highly recommend and will definitely/hopefully be staying here again in the future. Linked in the first sentence of this paragraph.
Food is obviously my love language so here are a couple of my favorites in wine country.
First up, Redd is SO so yum for lunch or dinner. Chic/cool vibes and the food is nuts, delicious. Bomb apps, and some of the best pizza ever. Definitely go here.
For (in my opini) the best breakfast out there is Boon Fly. Healthy and MMM options (also, not healthy for those not interested in that). Avocado toast and the red quinoa and egg white bowl are my top picks but I've heard (aka I tried someone's) banana nut bread doesn't suck.
A must while you are in Sonoma is The Girl and The Fig. Go-to lunch spot right on the square, and it is to die for. I got the steak frites and was basically drooling. Spot on menu, great cocktails, and a great patio.
Lastly (there's a ton honestly, but I'm trying to keep this short) and also on the square, El Dorado Kitchen was insanely wonderful food. Best brussels sprouts ever, amazing burger, great cocktails, and also a great patio. We also ordered the tuna tartare app, and I got the crab salad for myself, and both were delightful.
